Coming this fall, Toms ups the ante, adding to it’s uber-popular slip on with a fancier wedge version. What do you think?

Hair color is having a moment right now – no, not the same old little blonde highlights but official color. I think it is so freakin’ cute and if I were younger/not me I would totally do it! (I actually had pink streaks in my hair last year in a pre-wedding hair-boredom fit, but they washed out after only a couple days. Sad.)

For those of us who live through New England winters, there isn’t any substitute for a super warm coat. The best news these days is that puffers are everywhere in stylish and fashionable cuts. Gone are the days of the Stay-Puff marshmallow. Check these out – all available at shopbop.com.
Uh oh! I’ve been told I’ve been slacking on my blogging duties too much. Sorry dear readers! I promise to get back to regular postings. Starting with this nugget:
By now, you’ve no doubt heard of invitation only shopping sites like Gilt Groupe and Rue La La. And of course you’ve heard of Bag Borrow or Steal where you can essentially rent fancy handbags. Now comes Rent the Runway, an invitation only site on which you can rent party dresses for about 10% of the cost of buying the dress. Below is a version of the peek-a-boo shoulder Proenza Schouler dress I’ve blogged about before (albeit less exciting without the sparkles) that you can rent from the site. Personally, I am a collector of dresses, but if you are a wear once kind of a girl or you don’t have the cake for that designer dress you’ve been coveting, this just may be the thing for you. Oh yeah and to get an invitation, just email them. If only it were always that easy to get invited!
This cold rainy weather reminds me of what’s to come here in good ol’ new england. Lots of crappy, fashion challenging weather. Who wants to wear their gorgeous Manolo boots on a rainy/snowy/icy day. Never fear you can still look fabulous with these boots from my favorite store, Tarjay. Stylish and practically free (well, compared to fancy brands, anyway) you won’t mind wearing them in the foul weather.
Note: Some of these styles are sold out online, but they still have them in stores, so get thee to a Tarjay today!
