New York Mag’s “The Cut” turns its (much beloved) snark on Boston. Upside, it seems Giselle is in residence just a few doors down from me. She’ll probably invite me over for caipirinhas soon.
Well, as the world (read: media) looks back on the 00’s it appears to have been a pretty grim decade. Boo hoo! As I reflect, I am going to spend a little time focusing on the rough stuff, but also a whole lot of time focusing on the good stuff. Hope you spend some time thinking about your happy memories, too.
Much has been made of Stella McCartney’s statement to W Magazine that she wanted “realness” and not “polished child model” kids for her gap ad campaign, but I still can’t let it go. Clearly she is way disillusioned.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Did you see this bit from New York Mag’s “The Cut” on Manolo Blahnik last week? I am no champion for starlets but seriously, what a prick! Alas, I still won’t be getting rid of my many pairs (like when I threw away my Kanye CDs after he was mean to Taylor Swift).
In honor of my sister Lauren, who is now a cat person, this news from the world of fashion. Cats Are In! And More Proof Cats Are In! It’s so crazy I almost love it.
