Right about now I am feeling pretty darn happy that I don’t celebrate winter holidays in any traditional sense. A couple years ago I talked my family out of exchanging any sort of holiday presents and we’re all the happier for it (before you judge me a horrid person, they all agreed pretty freakin’ readily). We still all get together, have a nice time and eat a lot, which as far as I am concerned are the important parts of the holidays anyway. Still, I love this “Dream Wish List” floating around on the internet. I especially love that it includes notes, typo corrections, and all from this woman’s boyfriend. I can almost feel his incredulity as he assigns prices to the many items on her list. For full snarky run down see HuffPo article.
Barbie Townhouse, move over. Dollhouse style has come to town. Also includes an option to buy kick ass modern furnishings.
Step away from the PDA. How about an old fashioned diary for 2011? So retro it’s hip and a great way to show a little style. Plus how lovely and tactile to actually write things down. Like your important engagements are real and not just with cyberspace.
